Event Overview
The Global SME Finance Forum 2025 takes place from 15–17 September in Johannesburg, as an official side event of the G20 South Africa Presidency.
Hosted by the SME Finance Forum, managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and organised with strategic partner Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), the Forum convenes financial institutions, fintech innovators, multilateral organisations, and business leaders to strengthen support for small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide.
Under the theme “Building Resilience and Creating Opportunities for Growth”, the three day event features thought provoking discussions, interactive panels, and networking activities to explore strategies for enhancing SME access to finance, driving innovation, and promoting inclusive growth.
