Event Overview

Prior to the G20 Summit, the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) will organise two side events alongside the B20 South Africa Summit in collaboration with BUSA, CIPC, DBSA, GIZ, CASI, and B20 Task Force leaders.

The discussions will bring together leaders from business, government, and civil society to explore how global sustainability standards can be translated into local opportunities. With 38 international jurisdictions, including 10 African countries, having adopted the ISSB Standards, this engagement will advance dialogue on operationalising the recommendations of the B20 Integrity and Compliance Task Force Report.

Participants will discuss how global best practices can be turned into actionable steps that strengthen transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth across the South African economy.
