Digital Trade Roundtable

The Digital Trade Roundtable will convene business leaders, including several Business 20 (B20) Task Force Chairs, to discuss strategies for strengthening competitiveness within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Organised in collaboration with the Forum Friends of the AfCFTA and the World Economic Forum, this high-level session will centre on the implementation of the AfCFTA Digital Trade Protocol.

Panellists will explore how the private sector can help close Africa’s infrastructure gaps, accelerate the digital economy, and facilitate innovation and investment. Through keynote addresses and panel discussions with leading CEOs, heads of international organisations, and public sector representatives, the roundtable aims to catalyse economic growth, diversification, and competitiveness, positioning Africa as a rising force in global trade.
