Event Overview

Sustainability Week Africa is a continental platform dedicated to amplifying Africa’s voice in the global climate debate. The event focuses on practical pathways for governments, businesses, and communities to benefit from going green, while unlocking investment that accelerates inclusive economic growth.

The 2025 programme will explore Africa’s role in advancing energy transition, climate resilience, and sustainable development. A key highlight is the session “Countdown to the B20: How Can Africa Make the Most of It?” which will examine how B20 South Africa’s Summit is shaping business-driven policies for global challenges, with emphasis on the priorities of the Global South.

B20 South Africa will be represented by Dr Anthony Costa, who is scheduled to participate in the panel discussion.
