This is the first time the G20 and B20 Presidency is hosted by an African nation. The Summit highlights Africa’s economic leadership and policy contributions on the global stage.
The B20 Presidency will be handed over from South Africa to the United States as part of the G20 transition. However, we hope to continue the momentum through our legacy initiatives, our close working relationship with the next B20 host, as well as through ongoing monitoring and advocacy of the B20 recommendations.
