Resilient Finance for a Changing World

Before the B20 South Africa Summit commences, Sanlam will host a high-level B20 Finance & Infrastructure Task Force side event in Johannesburg, convening global leaders in asset management, insurance, and development finance.

Themed “Resilient Finance for a Changing World,” the event will explore how capital can both withstand crises and unlock growth, with a particular focus on Africa’s investment potential.

The agenda will feature two expert panels:

• Unlocking Capital in a Risk-Averse World: Examining innovative approaches to de-risking infrastructure and mobilising capital.
• Climate, Conflict, and Capital: Navigating Global Risks: Addressing strategies for building resilience amid climate and geopolitical challenges.

Supporting the B20 Finance & Infrastructure Task Force recommendations, this event aims to generate actionable insights and alliances among CEOs, policymakers, and financial leaders to shape the future of resilient finance and inclusive economic growth.
