Hosted by the Southern African Liaison Office (SALO), this virtual public dialogue convenes African and international stakeholders to reflect on South Africa’s G20 Presidency theme: “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability.”
The session will centre on the country’s four priority areas for its G20 leadership:
- Strengthening disaster resilience and response
- Ensuring debt sustainability for low-income countries
- Mobilising finance for a just energy transition
- Harnessing critical minerals for inclusive growth and sustainable
development
Dr Anthony Costa, Head of the B20 South Africa Secretariat, will deliver an update on how the B20’s business-led engagements are aligning with and supporting these national G20 priorities. His intervention will highlight the road ahead as seen through the lens of inclusive economic policy, resilient infrastructure, and the opportunities emerging from a more coordinated African voice in global governance.
