Strategic Perspectives Lunch: Women and SMMEs in Trade

The Strategic Perspectives Lunch, hosted by B20 South Africa in partnership with Absa, is a high level thought leadership session that will convene leading voices from business, government, and civil society to explore the role of women, small and medium enterprises (SMMEs), and youth in driving inclusive trade and sustainable growth across Africa.

The discussion will unpack opportunities to strengthen cross border collaboration, digital inclusion, and access to finance for women-led and emerging businesses — key enablers for unlocking the continent’s full economic potential. This engagement forms part of the Trade & Investment (T&I) Task Force’s ongoing efforts to advance inclusive participation and competitiveness within Africa’s trade ecosystem.
