This Task Force aims to help reduce global unemployment (5% of the labour force) and underemployment (10%-15%) by encouraging G20 governments and policymakers to invest in tools that reflect the dynamic changes taking place in the world, driven by both technology and demographics, to achieve economic growth and employment outcomes that support social, economic and political stability.

They also emphasise re-skilling, upskilling, and adapting to digital platform work to prepare a workforce that can thrive in rapidly changing labour markets.
