UN Global Compact Network South Africa SME Readiness Tool Launch

The UN Global Compact Network South Africa will host the launch of the SME Readiness Assessment Tool, a user-friendly digital platform designed to help businesses measure and enhance their sustainability maturity.

The event will:

• Officially introduce the SME Readiness Assessment Tool to both SMEs and large companies.
• Mobilise SMEs to use and promote the tool as part of their sustainability journey.
• Encourage large businesses to champion the tool across their supply chains and networks.
• Promote partnerships between SMEs, large businesses, and stakeholders to accelerate inclusion in sustainable development.

The tool is built on eight key sustainability indicators aligned with globally recognised frameworks, offering a simple binary (yes/no) assessment method applicable across sectors and business sizes.
